This is a Toshiba 17″ Laptop with a smashed LCD screen. On this model I had to remove some screws from the base and three screws from inside the battery bay before the bezel could be released.
I’ve changed the way I display the photo’s. Click to enlarge them they will open in Lightbox. If you hover over the middle right or left side you get an arrow which will goto the next step (photo).

- Step 01 – Remove the battery.
- Step 02 – Remove the screws in the batter bay.
- Step 03a – Remove screws on base right.
- Step 03b – Remove screws on base left.
- Step 04 – Remove the bezel rubbers.
- Step 05 – Remove the screws from around the bezel.
- Step 06a – Unclip the bezel side.
- Step 06b – Unclip the bezel at the top.
- Step 07 – Lift up the base and ease out the bezel from underneath.
- Step 08 – Unscrew the screen hinges.
- Step 09 – Remove the top frame.
- Step 10 – Unplug the screen cable
- Step 11 – Unplug the inverter cable.
- Step 12 – Unscrew the screen hinge
